Raindrop Therapy

RAINDROP THERAPY PROCEDURE

RAINDROP TECHNIQUE uses a sequence of powerful essential oils designed to support the following body systems: immune, respiratory, musculoskeletal, and gastrointestinal.  It also balances energy, lifts the spirit, increases relaxation, and enhances concentration. RAINDROP THERAPY (RT) is one of the safest, non invasive, techniques available. It is also an invaluable tool to promote healing within, using topically applied essential oils on the body.

THE PROCEDURE

It is best to have the receiver of RT lying on a massage table or comfortable flat surface in an area free of distractions. The temperature should be warm enough to be comfortable since the receiver’s back will be exposed. Besides the necessary oils you will need a sheet or blanket that can be stained because it is a possibility that some of the oils might leave a stain. Place a carrier oil over the entire back first!

STEP 1:
Apply  Valor oil blend. Valor woks on the physical, electrical, and emotional levels, supporting the physical and energy alignment of the body. The key to using this oil blend is patience. Once the frequencies begin to balance, a structural alignment can begin to occur. Put 6 to 10 drops of Valor into your (facilitator) non-dominant hand. Apply Valor with the dominant hand to the soles of the receiver’s feet.

STEP 2:
Place your hands on the bottom of the receiver’s feet and wait for balancing to occur, which is sometimes felt as a pulsing effect. This may take 5 minutes or more. Place your hands as flat as possible on the feet of the receiver. Encourage the receiver to take long deep breaths and relax during this process.

STEP 3:
Place a carrier oil over the entire back before you start. Apply Thyme and Oregano to the spine. Thyme is documented to be highly immune boosting.  This essential oil easily penetrates the skin and travels throughout the body. Oregano is even more aggressive than thyme.

Hold the bottle six inches above the skin and evenly space 5-6 drops of thyme oil along the spine from bottom to top. After this oil, then apply the same amount of Oregano oil. With 4 inch brush-like strokes, brush fingertips along the sides of the spine as you feather up the back from the sacrum (base of spine) to the atlas (hair line on back of neck). Do this 3 times. It is optional to use the pads of your fingers instead. If you wear fingernail polish, use the pads of your fingers.

CAUTION: MORE IS NOT BETTER!!! If there is any burning, apply V-6 Mixing Oil or massage base oil to dilute the oil. The high phenol content of oregano and thyme oils can produce excess warming or reddening to the skin.

STEP 4:
Drop 4-6 drops of Basil, Wintergreen, Cypress, Marjoram, Peppermint, and Aroma Siez on the muscles along the spine and rib areas of the back. After each oil, use the nail side of your fingertips to feather oils up the spine from the sacrum to the atlas with 4 inch brush-like strokes.

Optional: Put hot water on a towel, wring it out and place on the back. On top of the wet towel, place a dry towel. This helps the oils to sink into the body faster. If any part of the back becomes uncomfortable, take off the towel and place more carrier oil over the area.

BASIL helps relax muscles.

WINTERGREEN / BIRCH relieve discomfort due to their high methyl salicylate content. These essential oils are excellent for bones.

CYPRESS improves circulation. Cypress promotes tissue healing.

MARJORAM helps relax muscles.

PEPPERMINT relieves discomfort. It works synergistically with other oils to enhance their activity. Peppermint also stimulates circulation and cools the body.

AROMA SIEZ is relaxing to the muscles. It promotes circulation and detoxification of the lymphatic system.
