Holy Fire Reiki is a recently developed form of Reiki that was introduced by the The International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). It is both powerful and gentle, providing purification, healing, empowerment, and guidance. It is included as part of our Usui Reiki classes and has also been added to Karuna Reiki® training. The Usui/Holy Fire is a representation of Holy Spirit, which is a powerful energy.

Holy Fire Reiki is a combination of traditional Usui Reiki and a contemporary evolution of Reiki. Holy Fire energy comes from a higher and more effective level of consciousness. It works continuously, healing quickly and spontaneously. Many practitioners of Holy Fire Reiki rely on this energy to heal relationships, interactions with others and to provide guidance in every level of life experience, respecting one’s free will.

In Usui/Holy Fire Reiki I and II, the student is introduced to the Holy Fire energy. In Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master and Holy Fire Karuna Reiki ® training, the student goes much deeper into the Holy Fire energy and acquires healing energy that can deeply heel one’s wounded parts and help one access all the gifts of one’s Spirit or Higher Self. Because the energy is gentle, this transformation begins in class and will continue for months, helping the person to develop into their highest potential. Since Holy Fire respects free will, this is a person’s choice.

Holy Fire Reiki is not intended to have a religious meaning and is not affiliated with any religion. The word holy has as its root meaning to be whole and complete. Therefore, Holy Fire is a spiritual energy and this is how it is used in Holy Fire Reiki.
During a Holy Fire Reiki treatment session, a person lies or sits comfortably while the Reiki practitioner places their hands either on or near the body, allowing Reiki energy to flow. The person remains fully clothed except for shoes and outerwear. This class experience installs holy, divine, love into a person’s soul.

This divine love is a higher level of consciousness than human love. It instills one with the feeling of being loved by a kind and wonderful being that knows you intimately. It allows healing and enhancement of one’s own ability to love themselves and others, similar to the life energy that flows through the body. Holy Fire energy soothes, relaxes, nurtures and heals deeply.
