Reiki Master Training: Becoming a Reiki Master

Karen Harrison teaches Reiki master training at the Whole Life Center in Kansas City! Reiki master training requires taking the Reiki Master class and receiving the attunements for Reiki Master. Reiki is energy or spiritual healing that reduces stress and promotes healing. There are study levels in Reiki, with Reiki master training being the highest. Karen herself is a Reiki Master! Keep reading this blog to explore more!

A student with Reiki II training for a minimum of 6 months is eligible to take the Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master course. Only Reiki Master’s can teach and initiate new Reiki Masters. Reiki training begins with Reiki I and II, in which you learn how to give yourself and someone else the standard treatment. In Reiki II, you’ll continue to learn how to use Reiki symbols to amplify your healing energy. You will also learn how to put a whole treatment together, including scanning the body for energy blockages and how to give intuitive treatments guided by your scanning. One of the most important things you learn is sending Reiki at a distance, so you can help your family and friends who don’t live in the same city as you.

In our Reiki master training class, you receive the ability to teach Reiki to others if you choose to. Many people pursue becoming a Reiki Master and use the energy for themselves and their families, but teaching is not required. Many people later find they are drawn to share this wonderful healing energy with others, even if it is with just a few loved ones, while others will choose to teach Reiki professionally. Once you complete the Reiki master training course, you are a Reiki Master Practitioner; after you have taught one person, you become a Reiki Master Teacher. In teaching Reiki to others, you can experience great joy as you witness the amazement from your students who are experiencing Reiki for the first time. The steps to becoming a Reiki master can be simplified as such:

  1. Learn Reiki
  2. Practice Reiki
  3. Attend Reiki Circle
  4. Get Certified
  5. Advance to Reiki Master
  6. Practice and Teach
