A Reiki Master – Teaching Others How To Make Positive Life Changes

A Reiki Master is a practitioner of Reiki, which is a spiritual healing art of Japanese origin. The word Reiki is derived from the words “Rei” which means “Universal Life” and “Ki” meaning “Energy.” Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy.

“Reiki is a sacred practice that requires reverence and our greatest respect if we are to experience its most wonderful value.” –William Rand

The Japanese technique of using Reiki for healing the body, mind and spirit draws on life force energy through touch, the laying on of hands. A Reiki Master has received the attunements (placements) for Reiki Master. In Japan, the name of the Reiki Master level is Shinpiden, which means “Mystery Teaching.” Shinpiden is the mystery of God’s love, wisdom, and power. This empowers the Reiki Master to become aware of higher levels of consciousness, to have a greater connection to the Divine which enables the Reiki Master to receive the enhanced potential for healing and wisdom that comes from Reiki energy.

When we invite Reiki to heal and foster personal growth, a greater healing experience can be realized. Surrendering one’s will to God and receiving the flow of Reiki energy rewards the Reiki Master with enhanced awareness and can lead to unlimited possibilities, not only for personal growth, joy and peace but also enabling others to benefit as well.

One of the greatest joys of Reiki Mastership is teaching Reiki to others. Although it is not required, it is an opportunity to share the healing energy, symbols, techniques and knowledge that help guide the Reiki Master as they experience the gentle power of Reiki healing energy. Compassion and love for all are strengthened as one merges with Reiki Consciousness, embracing the energy that comes from God.

Benefits of Learning From a Reiki Master

As one of the oldest healing systems in use today, as well as one of the most versatile, Reiki can benefit many aspects of a person’s life. It can be used to heal one’s body, mind and spirit. It can help those who are suffering from major illnesses as well as alleviating minor complaints, both physical and psychological.

A Reiki Master can teach you how to use the healing power of Reiki to heal others. You will reach a level of consciousness that resides deep within you. This new consciousness is a higher aspect of Reiki that is available to all of us. It is a smaller version of what Jesus experienced when he performed miracles and when he had a profoundly positive effect on those around him. You will learn how to improve every aspect of your life and make healthy, positive changes that are needed. By releasing all desire to hold onto negative ways that limit your happiness, you will instead learn to embrace the inner light of Reiki and surrender to its healing power, leading to inner peace.

Reiki is for everyone – adults, babies, toddlers, children, the elderly and pets.
